It came in
   right between meetings—
   me, neck-deep in slide decks and simmering deadlines,
   *barely* breathing

   through another round of someone talking too long. (about something I don’t care about)

Then: Ding.

And there you were—
    moving through reps

    like the weights were lucky to be near you.

Focused.
Strong.
Unbothered.

Everything I wish I felt in that moment.

And just as the clip was about to end,
    there it was—

    that smile.

The one you don’t even know you’re giving.
The one that says:
    "Yeah, I know you’re watching."
          "I know this helps."

And it did.

Whatever that was—
     the flash of you,
     the motion,
     the effort,
     the glow,

     the wide smirk that closed it out…

I needed it.

Not because it was loud.
Not because it was planned.

But because it was you.

Exactly when I needed you.

Again.
